Aiden Update: September 2008 - 12 pounds!

August 9 - My Mommy & Daddy took me to my Papa Jerry & Grandma Terry's house today to celebrate my auntie Len's 19th birthday. My Papa Jerry was so proud and showing me off to all of his MASON friends. His friends all thought that I was adorable. I also met my Mommy's auntie Mercilyn for the first time. She said that I looked like my Mommy. I was really tired when we got home because we stayed at my grandparents house until 11pm.

August 12 - Today, I met my Uncle Bernie for the first time. We went to their house because my Daddy needed a haircut from Uncle Bernie. My auntie Bernice was so surprised because she didn't know that I was coming over. She was so excited to see me. My Grandpa Beng gave me some money for good luck.

August 18 - My parents were going to take me to Hermosa Beach today but since it was so hot, they decided to take me to Del Amo Mall instead. My auntie Misty works there so we went to go visit her. My Mommy wanted to shop but she didn't get to because I was very fussy. Sorry Mommy, I guess you will just have to shop online for right now.

August 22 - My Mommy put mittens on me today because she noticed some rashes on my face. She wants to prevent me from scratching myself. The mittens are annoying because they keep falling off my hands. Hopefully my rashes get better so I don't have to wear them anymore.

September 1 - Today is labor day and we are going to my Papa Jerry & Grandma Terry's house for a BBQ. I am so excited.

September 3 - My Mommy was concerned about the rashes on my face and my dried scalp so she took me to the Doctor. This time, I went to a new Pediatrician, her name is Dr. Diego. My Mommy was very nervous because it was her first time taking me out without the help of my Daddy. She did a pretty good job. I was very proud of her because she managed to carry me in my carseat all by herself. The nurse said that I weighed 12 lbs, 10 onces and 21 1/2 inches long. My Mommy was so amazed at how big I've gotten. Dr. Diego told my Mommy that I have cradle cap. Cradle cap is common to infants and does not hurt. Dr. Diego told my Mommy to rub baby oil on to my scalp before bath time to remove the flakes and to use hydrocortisone to treat the rashes on my face & neck. This is exactly what my Grandma Terry told my Mommy to do. Mommy should have just listened to grandma.

September 4 - Since I was born my Daddy has been the one giving me a bath. Today, my Mommy finally gave me a bath for the first time. She was so slow. Luckily my Daddy got home just in time to help Mommy with my bath. Thanks Dad!!!

Uncle Max

Last Saturday, my mommy and daddy woke up early, and dressed me up real nice. I was so sleepy. We headed out to Los Angeles by the airport, and went to this coffee shop called "Coffeee & Co." Ummmm....breakfast!

When we got to the coffee shop - guess who was there? My Uncle Max. I have never met my uncle before. I hope he was as excited to meet me too. He carried me, and hugged me, and kissed me! The adults were talking and I heard, he was going on a long trip, and will be riding in a plane! Oooooo! Take me with you, I've never been in a plane!

Take care, Uncle. Until we meet again. Thanks for taking the time to see my handsome self. Hopefully, it won't be long, before you come visit me again. I don't think I can go to Hawaii yet - so you'll have to come see me at my house.

Auntie & I

My mom's youngest sister - Auntie Len - always visits me. My mommy does not know it yet, but Auntie secretly calls me "Den Den." I think she wants my name and her name to match. It's kinda cute.....Our family has a habit of giving nicknames and repeating it. I don't understand....Ging Ging, Ning Ning, Mac Mac, Len Len...It's weird. I think "Den Den" is cute...It makes me feel special....shhhh, don't tell my Mom.

My Auntie Len Len has a habit of taking pictures of me and sending them out to people. I think she feels proud because she always catches me on a good mood, and I am always smiling when she takes a picture of me. She makes me laugh. Thanks, Auntie Len Len for the all the time you spend with me, and taking the busy time from your school and work, just to see my handsome self. Keep taking pictures, and I will keep smiling!
